Ferrari F12 Successor? Shut Up And Take Our Money
Car designer Dejan Hristov has given us this gorgeous rendering of what he thinks the successor to the fearsome Ferrari F12 might look like. Dubbed the CascoRosso, Dejan says he took inspiration from the Ferrari 250 GTO during its creation.
While there is the occasional nod to the 250, to us, this thing looks more like a cross between the F12 and a pre-Tumbler retro Batmobile, with its hugely elongated bonnet and protruding wheel housings. He's envisioned the car as being front engined, like the F12, but with a hybrid powertrain. The batteries would be stored behind the driver for better weight distribution.
Instead of wing mirrors, a pair of cameras are integrated into the body. A third camera on the rear dispenses with the need for a rear window.
We think the CascoRosso looks gorgeous, so if Ferrari did replace the F12 with something like this, we hope it's a little harder to crash.
