Ferrari GT Racing Driver Miraculously OK After Huge Hit With The Barrier

Sacha Bottemanne was competing in the first GT Tour race at the Circuit Paul Armagnac in France when contact pitched his Ferrari 458 GT3 hard into the wall, but amazingly he was OK

The crash took place during the first GT Tour race at the Circuit Paul Armagnac circuit in France with 42 minutes left to go, following contact with another car. Bottemanne’s Ferrari went into the barrier at high speed but he managed to climb out of the car on his own. According to social media reports he escaped unharmed. The GT Tour account said he is conscious. We’ll update you when more information is made available.

I’m not sure the driver was at fault here. It looks to me that a right side brake may have locked up sending the car into the other Ferrari and then into the wall.
That considering the counter steer he tries to apply.

I agree, at first I thought the driver was an idiot. But maybe something broke off or locked up

I don’t know but I think he would not intentionally try to hit him at this speed, maybe the focus was not 100% or a something went wrong with the steering or the brakes..
