The First Image Of The New BMW M4 Has Landed
The first image of BMW's highly anticipated M4 model has been leaked online thanks to Belgian website Auto55.
The image reveals that the M version of the new 3-series will feature a prominent power bulge (as seen on the previous V8 car) despite the new M4's expected use of a smaller and more efficient 3.0-litre, turbocharged straight six motor; this is expected to produce around 450bhp and should sound a little bit like this...
Also visible from the leaked image is the lightweight carbonfibre roof - which helps keep the M4's centre of gravity low - plus a carbonfibre front splitter and large intake ducts which are housed in the more aggressively styled front bumper. You can also see the M4 moniker (if you look closely) in the chrome grille.
No word yet on performance figures and pricing, but expect these to drop next month at the Frankfurt motor show.
Who's excited about the BMW M4?
