This Frankenstein Subaru BRZ Hides 2 Superbike Engines And An Engine Noise You'll Worship
One of the biggest criticisms levelled at the BRZ/GT86 has always been the lack of power and torque. And while tuners often resort to LS V8 swaps or superchargers, this car's two bike engines make it a true one-off
This is the JUN BRZ. It looks like any other tuned sports cars with its low ride height, stiff springs, bright body colour and big wing. Under the bonnet, however, this particular BRZ is anything but normal.
As you’ll see in the video, the engine bay hides a wonderful secret. Here, you’ll find two 1.2-litre superbike engines which have been combined to create a 2.4-litre V8. Combined power is rated at 367hp, but the best thing about this build is the engine’s 11,000rpm+ rev limit; this makes a Honda S2k’s 9000rpm redline sound completely unremarkable all of a sudden.
Of course, having two bike engines for power means that the JUN BRZ will also sound as good as you were hoping for, especially when the taps are fully opened.
