Geneva 09: Koenigsegg Releases The Quant Teaser

Drip, drip, drip. Hear that? That's the sound of leaks. Now some more new information drops, this time from Switzerland, by away of specialty manufacturer Koenigsegg, who released a teaser of it's upcoming supercar dubbed "The Quant".

There it is, that's about all we know on the new supercar from Koenigsegg. Unique name too, "The Quant". Unlike some other releases we've seen, no details have surfaced in recent months regarding a new vehicle from the company.

The design is menacing and hunkered down; it projects an strikingly modern look that represents a departure for the brand. I'm interesting in learning whether or not it's a production vehicle. I hope it is!

Koenigsegg has other things in store for the Geneva Show as well, including a new infotainment system for it's current offering the CCX supercar. 

The climate control, satellite navigation and audio systems can all be controlled from one touchscreen user interface, bringing everything together in one place.

Along with those controls, you can monitor performance metrics and adjust suspension settings.

So it looks like Koenigsegg will be bringing a lot to the table at Geneva! Unlike some others, there promises to be real suspense around this car as we await more details and photos.
