Get Your Quirk On For Doug DeMuro's Date With A Rented Abarth 500

With quirks like six separate circular lights at the front and a standard boost gauge, the Abarth 500 is a smiley little nipper that has won Doug DeMuro's heart

YouTuber Doug DeMuro has downgraded his wheels since his video with a Mercedes SL63 AMG Black Series, but it’s not necessarily bad news. He’s been tooling around in a rented Abarth 500 worth about $9000, and he’s fallen a little bit in love.

Naturally, he delves into its quirks to dissect the parts that make this adapted Fiat so much fun. From wheels whose finish has worn quite badly to the ridiculous amount of times the Abarth and Scorpion logos appear, Doug is at his Douggiest.

If you don’t have time to watch the full thing, we can recommend flipping to the 1m43s mark to hear the unexpectedly throaty noise this cheerful Italian training shoe makes.

That might be true for standard trim, but I don’t think girls like abarth version (no gender topic intended tho)

FFS Doug can’t he just keep himself not doing less known cars? He’s going to raise the price if he continues

I actually quite like this car for the price. As an economical car that’s almost new it makes a ton of sense. You can get a 2013 with around 50k miles for 9k, it has a manual transmission, turbo, sounds good, the insurance is cheap, mpg is good. As long as you use this car to move from A to B for one or two people space shouldn’t be a concern, the rear seats fold for more room. I can’t think of any other car in the States that fits this criteria without being boring, and this is probably the closest we have to a proper hot hatch, meaning it doesn’t have 300hp
