So… it’s not a Honda anymore since it lacks VTEC. RIP VTEC.

Why can’t they have the turbo and keep the VTEC?

Well, we dont have the “Si” model here. “1.5 l VTEC-turbomotor” it says on Hondas homepage, 182 hp and 240Nm.

Good review. I have a 2013 Civic Si and I was curious about how this matches up to mine. It sounds like they have put a lot of work into the suspension and moved the power band to lower rpm.

Would you prefer to have the new turbo version or one from the previous generation?

Hi guys I just recently purchased the new 2017 Honda Civic SI and I wanted to ask if there is any aftermarket turbo out there that could replace the stock turbo. I wanna try to make anywhere above 280whp on the car and also try to make it street legal if that’s possible. I have a video below that shows what the engine looks like. If anyone can give me any pointers that would help a lot. I saw Hondata but I want to have something that could produce more power than that can.
