Got A Swimming Pool You Want To Kill? Simply Drive Into It With A Jeep

When it's time to kiss your loyal swimming pool goodbye, the guys in Canada have the right idea for the perfect send off. As for the execution? Well, that still needs a bit of work.

Inspiration for this potentially epic parting seems to have come from the swinging 60s and the Who's Keith Moon. To celebrate his 21st birthday, Moon drove a Lincoln Continental into a Holiday Inn's swimming pool. The bill to recover the car totalled a massive $50,000.

Instead of a Lincoln however, this low budget recreation uses an old-school Jeep Cherokee and a homemade ramp to send the Jeep flying into the water. Unfortunately, things don't go quite to plan as the Jeep lands in the water without destroying the pool. Only after a massive angle grinder is found does the pool meet it's watery grave.
