Not bad but they need to get comfortable with the show which will happen over the coming shows I hope. But, can’t help but notice that the track times were slower than Chris harris managed and in that case the mclaren won it convincingly before the trofeos were even put on.

ok so it is a bit too much scripted, but they wouldn’t have made it without legal issues if it hadn’t been… the best thing though is that those self-righteous smarta**es at bbc are probably realizing just now that they made a terrible choice to sack the trio… the “new” TG has already fallen apart, with that stuck-up ginger not capable of anything but imitating Jezza, and the others that apart from Chris Harris (who i liked better when he was on youtube) don’t have a clue on how to do a show like TG…

So far this show has been an amazing car show while also constantly roasting the BBC

From a cinemtaic viewpoint the Grand Tour is at least 5 levels above the old show that shall not be named.

However, I missed the subtle and dry humor that made the trio so entertaining for the long-time viewer that knew the show. Obviously, the content is now made for a much broader audience, but does that mean that the jokes must be so blatantly obvious? Also, the first episode missed the aspect of the trio playing with their lines. I hope that makes a return in the next episodes / years given that it is a bit too early to judge…

Otherwise as Clarkson likes to put it: Utterly brilliant.
