0455: Final shot. Ethan and I are completely finished. September 17th and GTA V... you have not disappointed.

0350: We're still alive! We've been playing GTA V for 2 hours solid. So far, it's excellent; quality graphics, loads of content and random extras (golf!) with an averagely compelling storyline.

Our highlight? Flying planes up to the Vinewood sign. Eat your heart out Hollywood!

0133: Back to Ethan's flat and now installing (2GB down of 7.6GB)

0100: Ethan is a happy boy. But it's 1am and I need a Red Bull, so next stop is une supermarché!

0056: After 2 hours of queuing, I finally made it. GTA V IS MINE!

0023: Store attendant said that first person in the queue had been waiting since 4pm for the midnight release. All he got for his troubles was a £15 upgrade to special edition!

0021: Made it inside. Spot the only girl in the queue...

0007: We've reached the store entrance. 8 MINUTES LATE. Epsom, I blame you!

0003: Game is not in my hand. I've been living a lie.

2359: 1 more minute left until September 17th. Eek.

2352: Do I want to upgrade to the Special Edition for an extra £15?

2348: 12 more minutes to go. This crowd is positively buzzing.

2336: Question time: what's your favourite Grand Theft Auto title?Adnan - San AndreasEthan - Vice City - "I literally know Vice City better than Farnham"

2322: 10 degrees Celsius here in Epsom; summer has officially left the building. It's cold out here. So thank goodness I'll be spending the next month indoors, sitting on my sofa, in front of my TV.

2316: CT presenter, Alex Gent, has messaged Dan in our Whatsapp group - "Hahah Danny when I see you I'm going to cover you in ice cream and eat it off you! Then I'll draw the GTA map on your chest with jam :)"

2309: Overheard in the queue, drunk 'lad' talking to his girlfriend - "You realise you won't be getting laid for the next 6 months?" #LuckyGirl

2304: Erm, okay, it turns out there are people who actually live in Epsom, Surrey, UK #queue

2259: We've arrived in Epsom to buy our copy of GTA V. So far so good, all looking quiet...

2233: On the way to Epsom in our Yaris Hybrid long-termer. Apparently the GAME there will be relatively quiet. We haven't pre-ordered. Uh oh.

2113: This game is bleedin' everywhere! Just seen another trailer on TV whilst eating my dinner (blurry pic alert):

2021: Apparently people have been getting impatient and jumping straight in with the "Play" disc instead of "Install" disc first. Hold your horses, people. Otherwise...

2017: "You shouldn't install the "Play" disc as it'll screw up the game." - Dan Holley

2008: And it's 9/10 from Gamespot. Solid ratings so far, and I'm resisting the temptation to also watch the copious numbers of gameplay videos on YouTube. So far, so good...

1952: IGN has spoken, and it's 10/10 for GTA V. All the excitement!

1948: My weapon of choice this evening will be the Xbox 360. I've personally been through four Xboxes now with Red Ring disease, so I'm hoping this Microsoft product has its stuff together this evening. Or else! What are you going to be playing on? #CTPlaysGTAV
