Gumball Crash #3 - Porsche 911 Turbo Bites The Barrier

Hate to say we told you so, but the Gumball 3000 crashes are stacking up. First off was this Lamborghini Murcielago SV, which wrecked on the very first day in Scandanavia. Next up was this Ferrari 458, which made it all the way to Latvia before skidding into the barriers in pouring rain. And now it’s the turn of stickered-up Porsche 911 Turbo to kiss the dirt.

This isn’t just any 911 Turbo though. Riding on Techart wheels, this Porsche sports the Gembella tuning upgrade, which pumps power from the twin-turbo flat-six to 585bhp from 493bhp. The upgrade uses new turbochargers, a sports air filter and stainless steel racing exhaust to create more horses, and yes, there’s a brake upgrade too: bigger discs, stronger calipers, and heavy-duty brake lines. Still not enough to save this poor Porker, though reports say everyone inside got out okay.

That’s one dead Lambo, Ferrari and Porsche from the 2013 Gumball. What’s next?
