Hamilton's Bahrain Three-Car Overtake Is A Thing Of Beauty
Having started ninth thanks to a gearbox penalty, Lewis Hamilton had plenty of ground to make up during Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Thankfully, an opportunity arose on lap five, which the Mercedes AMG driver seized via a ballsy manoeuvre that saw him pass Fernando Alonso, Esteban Ocon and Nico Hulkenberg in one go on the start/finish straight.
Naturally, the superior straight-line speed of the AMG W09 and the deployment of DRS helped Hamilton’s cause, but make no mistake - this was a tricky and risky move which the British driver pulled off rather beautifully.
Take a bow, @LewisHamilton 😮

Hamilton eventually finished third behind teammate Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. The latter driver had to fend off a late charge from Bottas, taking victory by just 0.699 seconds. Fellow Scuderia pilot Kimi Raikkonen retired meanwhile, following a pit stop blunder that left a mechanic with a broken leg.

One of the many exciting moments in that race , all in all it was an awesome race apart from the mechanic getting run over which was rather sad .
Is there any coverage of how he’s getting on?
