Hello CT. My name is Richard Porter and I was the script editor on Top Gear. Ask me anything.

After working on the show for 13 years, 22 series and 175 programmes, there’s quite a lot I can tell you about Top Gear. I know whose idea it was to get a dog, I was there when we got threatened by drug barons in Bolivia, I can give you the real story of that Porsche number plate.

I’ve put all these things in my new book, but you can ask me about them anyway. Or something else. Up to you. I’m here all night. Try the soup in a basket.

He can tell you what he has said in the book (http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/10/28/top-gear-jeremy-clarkson-argentina-bbc_n_8408932.html) and what everyone else involved with Top Gear, has said a thousand times over. There were 2 Porsche`s of that exact type available at the time. The Porsche with the HKL plate (which it had since sold from retailer when new) was the one in the condition they wanted, so thats the one they bought, it really and truly is that ridicilously simple.
Now, if you really want answers to heinous crimes, ask your government about harboring and taking blood money from certain ruthless individuals that fled a certain European country during the end of immediately after and for a long time after the end of the second “big picnic” (Hint, 1945 and on), and where that money went (certainly not to the people of your nation) AND why the individuals who gained those riches are sitting safely and unprosecuted in their villas giving zero preks about pretty much anything (you included) except their own well-being.
