Here Are All Of The Subaru WRX STI Type RA's Incredibly Subtle Tweaks
The changes between the standard WRX STI and the Type RA version aren't the most obvious, so who better to take us through what's new than the ever-meticulous Doug DeMuro?
We really thought lover of automotive quirks Doug DeMuro would be able to dine out on the Subaru WRX STI RA. But, it turns out there’s no a whole lot to go on other than an unusually large fuel filler flap release.
But forget about the quirks and features, as the fastidious Mr DeMuro is probably the best person to talk us through all the differences between the RA and the standard WRX STI, which - rear wing aside - are all extremely subtle and quite easy to miss.
Over to you, Doug…

I can’t wait till I get home to watch this and I really wish I would have seen Doug’s tweet from Toronto sooner and I wasn’t at work cuz i know exactly where he filmed that and I saw a veyron here the other day
He was filming with a chiron, maybe you saw that?

What?
He takes a picture of himself and a car. I think that’s the least click bait thing you can do
I would argue he’s the least “clickbaity” youtuber I know. Just information about cars…
To me, your click bait for me to down vote you
quirks and features lol

Type RA is good and all, but I know a way to get superior performance for less money quicker
Am I the only one who notices that Doug DeMuro’s videos are overrated now? I mean, he used to have a good format; the cars he used to review were very interesting, and the jokes were… Let’s say nice. But now he has become kinda snob. The only cars he consider good enough must have been made by americans or by europeans. Otherwise, are just not worthy for him.
Also, after he decided to make the Dougscore his videos are way too rigid. There is no room for experiments, like the ones he did when he had the Ferrari and tried to pick up girls with it… It might sound silly, but for sure makes a YouTube channel more dynamic.
This is just my opinion, but there’s always a chance to improve things…
