Here's A 2005 Ford GT You Can Actually Afford
How can you not want a 2005 Ford GT? The combination of those looks and a 5.4-litre, 550bhp supercharged V8 is a tasty-sounding recipe before you factor in the option of turning it into a near-3000bhp monster.
The only trouble is there’s one particularly conspicuous stumbling block between you and your previous-gen Ford GT dreams: money. After a quick scan of eBay Motors, we found this lovely Centennial White example, yours for $299,999. Not exactly small change. But if you don’t mind your GT being a little rough around the edges, allow us to present a cheaper option.
Well, perhaps ‘rough around the edges’ is being a tad charitable. There’s no sugar-coating it: this particular Ford GT has been burned to ashes, to the point you wouldn’t be able to tell what it used to be in happier times, were it not for the auction description.
We can see the odd semi-surviving component - a brake disc here, a piece of exhaust there - but for the most part, it looks like a prop from a Terminator film. You know, in one of those scenes from the future after Skynet got trigger happy with the ICBMs.
It’s currently up for online auction at a Copart branch in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a current bid of, erm, $0. We can’t imagine why.

Tennesee!? That’s where I used to live! Anyway, it would be amazing if someone built it back to life with those ashes (which I think is impossible)
