If you’re well off enough to be choosing between a Lamborghini Huracan Performante and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, you’ve a tough decision on your hands. Does the Lamborghini’s incredible 5.2-litre V10 swing it for you? Or is the challenge of taming the 690bhp, rear-wheel drive GT2 RS calling you?

You shouldn’t really base your car buying decision on lap times, but it is worth pointing out that around the Nurburgring, the GT2 RS is faster. Nearly five seconds faster, in fact. But what about at a track like Hockenheim?

Thanks to this video from Sport Auto - featuring the supremely handy Christian Gebhardt behind the wheel - we get our answer.

Let the battle commence…

Being 6’4” … I don’t fit into the Lambo’s
I do however fit into the Porsche’s

Biased upon length, I’m happy with the GT2 RS

If there is a difference between these two cars, which everyone can agree there is, it’s that one is much angrier than the other.
