Here's Another Rendered Imagination Of The 2019 Toyota Supra
It’s rare for a car to have quite so much hype as the incoming new Toyota Supra. We’re talking hype strong enough that we’ve all taken to calling it ‘Supra’ even though it’s far from confirmed it’ll even be called that. Hype strong enough to make us forget half the time that Toyota’s new sports car is part of a joint venture that’ll also provide the new BMW ‘Z5’.
With all that in mind, it’s no surprise that speculative renders are flowing over the Internet in abundance. We jumped on the Supra Photoshop bandwagon a few months ago, and this week we’ve been sent another render from our friends at Top Speed.
As with most of the Supra imaginations we’ve seen it’s an image of the front only, created using a blend of the FT-1 concept (which the car is expected to be influenced by) and what we’ve seen from the camouflaged test mules.
The result is a car that’s - of course - not anywhere near as wild as the FT-1, but it’s a pretty looking thing nonetheless, with shades of the GT86 and Lexus LC500.
The new Toyota sports car is expected to feature a range of four-cylinder and V6 engines, with the top-of-the-range version using a hybrid powertrain. It’ll most likely be revealed later this year.
