Here's A Fresh Look At The Mercedes-AMG Project One

The full debut of Mercedes-AMG’s crazed Projcet One hypercar is just a few weeks away, but for now, here’s a cheeky teaser image to whet your appetite.
The darkened picture doesn’t give much away, other than the car’s headlights and the rough shape of the front end. It also shows another angle of the car’s centrally-mounted intake, which will feed an F1-derived V6 engine.
It, along with a hybrid system inspired by - you guessed it - F1, will provide “over” 1000bhp, and a top speed “exceeding” 217mph.
All details should be available when Project One says its big hello at the Frankfurt Motorshow, although we do know there’ll be an electric turbocharger, a trio of electric motors, and an 11,000rpm redline for the dinky V6, which also idles at 4000rpm.

Idles at 4,000 RPM?! That’s not idling that’s moving while stationary!
It looks a little bit like the McLaren F1…
SaadAnwaar(#nissangtrisapc) Holy crap were gna see it at the IAA
I’m not sure about it, from these renders it looks like it will be curvy. And I hate curvy cars. Sharp edges any day.
Front end reminds me of a CLK GTR
Is it me or from this picture it looks like a Honda NSX-R?
it looks like the clk gtr
217 mph? With F1 technology and aero, I would expect at least 250.
Looks like an F1 GTR with Chiron headlamps
Reminds me of the F1 for some reason
