Here's How The Polestar 1 Would Look As A Drop-Top And A Shooting Brake

A few days ago, we broke the news about the mouth-watering Polestar 1. In the choice words of Polestar themselves, the Polestar 1 exemplifies a “no bullshit” design philosophy, just like you’d expect from a Volvo off-shoot.

However, the curious bones in our bodies can’t help but wonder what Polestar’s pretty first car would look like as something other than a coupe. Fortunately for us, X-Tomi Design has saved our brains from having to process that mental imagery. He’s taken the Polestar 1 and re-imagined it in two different ways - a shooting brake, and a cabriolet.

Here's How The Polestar 1 Would Look As A Drop-Top And A Shooting Brake

Not surprisingly, the cabriolet version looks rather like the 1 with its roof chopped off. The shooting brake version (main image), meanwhile, looks like a modern-day tribute to the legendary Volvo P1800ES. Either way, it’s a shame that neither one of these designs are likely to see the light of day, as Polestar currently has no plans for any alternative body styles.

Not bad ! The shooting brake looks nice but the drop top looks way too square, even for a Swedish car

This has 600hp and is (volvo claims) more of a sports car, than a GT.

If it was safety last many of the new safety features that were introduced these last few months would not have happened
