Here's The Moment A Lamborghini Aventador Goes Up In Flames During A Valet's Joyride

This valet has a lot of explaining to do after he decided to rev an Aventador while in traffic, sending flames into the air and causing the car to set alight

Here’s a pro tip: if you are driving a Lamborghini Aventador, be very careful about revving the nuts off it in order to spit fire. Sure, those long blue flames look cool, but this particular model of Lamborghini has a tendency to self immolate on occasion. And should you find yourself in the vicinity of a Lamborghini Aventador fire, we’d recommend putting it out with a fire extinguisher as above, instead of kicking the flames or driving away while it’s still burning

Oil and other things flying out of the exhaust when you rev a big V12 like that

Nah its not oil, why the hell would oil be coming out of the exhaust?

The car obviously over heated. All modern cars have liquid cooling systems but this is only fir cooling the engine block it self, the other parts of the car such as exhaust, differentials, brakes etc are usually cooled by the air and the car is designed to make use of the air flow. However revving the engine when the car isn’t moving will stop these parts from cooling especially the exhaust and they can get so hot it burns anything.

Exhaust pipes can touch over 1000 degrees Celsius

Am I the only one who was annoyed seeing that they push the car against the wing/spoiler?

I would have taken all of my clothes off and started to swat at the flames instead of watching and whining about it to people

Why did he just stay in the car? Don’t those car have a fire extinguisher in them anyway? Good thing that bystander got his own fire extinguisher and possibly saved the car.
