Here's A Quad-Turbo Honda Civic With Tank Tracks Because Why Not

Today's dose of aftermarket silliness involves a Civic coupe rocking a quartet of turbochargers and a set of tracks on the front axle

Our favourite project cars are the ones that don’t make a lot of sense. Like this one, for instance. The work of Canadian YouTube channel Boosted Lifestyle, it’s a Civic coupe, with its 1.6-litre B16 inline-four rocking not one, not two, but four turbochargers.

The chosen snails are BorgWarner K03s - a cheap and familiar unit used in the MkV VW Golf GTI and many other VW Group products. They may not be exotic, but they do look brilliantly silly all lined up.

Clearly, this wasn’t ridiculous enough. To deal with the present wintery weather, it was decided this quad-turbo Civic really needed some tracks on the front wheels. Have they been watching Garage54?

The suspension was jacked up to give the necessary clearance, while a set of steel wheels had the cleats of the tracks welded to them. A little trimming later, et voila: a ridiculous yet effective winter weapon.

It looked far from the easiest job, but the results appear to be worth it. Apparently, the next step involves fitting skis to the back…
