Here's What Happens When The Ford Fiesta ST Drag Races Its Rivals
Our love for the new Ford Fiesta ST is almost entirely down to its playful and absurdly capable chassis. But it does happen to be rather quick too: its turbocharged 1.5-litre inline-three develops 197bhp, making 0-62mph possible in just 6.5 seconds.
That’s two tenths faster than a VW Polo GTI, and just a tenth off the considerably more expensive ‘skunk works’ Toyota Yaris GRMN. But what if you brought these three together for a drag race, and chucked in the Peugeot 208 GTI and Mini John Cooper Works for good measure?

That’s exactly what Car Wow has done, which sees the ST pitted against four of its toughest rivals. While the result will make no difference to our opinion that the Ford is the one to have, we’re nonetheless intrigued to find out where each car finishes.

400 units limited edition vs millions of others
3 cylinders can produce more than my 2.5 L NA engine in my Camry. Science gone to far, but in a good way
still would not buy it. terrible interiors is the trend ford is following these days.
I would take the Mini
what about the Seat Ibiza cupra, Citroën DS3 THP or Opel Corsa OPC?
