Here's What Happens When You Race An NSX Against A Model X P100D
An Acura NSX and a Tesla Model X P100D face off in this drag race - which do you think will nab victory?
Despite its weight, the top-of-the-range Tesla Model is brutally effective in a straight line thanks to a huge power output and the instant torque delivery associated with electric motors. But can it knock a supercar off its perch in a quarter-mile drag race? Specifically, an Acura NSX?
The answer is…yes and no. The Model X in this race from DragTimes takes the victory by 0.25sec, but the reaction time from the NSX driver wasn’t great. With a more even start, we reckon the Acura/Honda - standard apart from a ScienceOfSpeed exhaust and some fancier wheels - would have just pipped the Tesla to the finish line.
Either way, it’s an impressive performance for an SUV-cum-minivan, don’t you think?

Make it a full mile or even half mile. Goodbye Model X.
I gotta admit though speed and practicality like the model x you just cant beat that
the time slip at 3:29 proves that the NSX is faster then the P100 D so ….i dont get the commment
