Here's Your First Look At The 2018 Jeep Wrangler
If you were feeling impatient about the impending reveal of the new Jeep Wrangler, we have some good news: you won’t have to wait until the LA Auto Show to see the car after all.
While revealing a whole host of Mopar parts and accessories for the 2018 Wrangler, Jeep also showed a trio of images showing the new vehicle in all its glory. And…it’s unmistakably Wrangler-ish, isn’t it? There isn’t masses to separate it from the old one, which should go down nicely with Jeep purists.
Look closely though and you will see a few new details. It’s a little curvier in places, and that kink in the iconic slatted grille is a nice touch. Most importantly, you can clearly still take bits off if you want a more alfresco driving experience.
Powertrains and other technical details remain a mystery, but with the full reveal set to go down at the LA show on 29 November, we don’t have too much longer to wait before we learn more.
What do you think of the new Wrangler?

Why does it look like the Wrangler before it? (Rhetorical question intended. )
Because if they changed it too much, there would probably be a revolution. The wrangler is a pretty iconic vehicle and jeep has hardly changed it since it first came out
Because it’s one of those vehicles that has to stay the same forever. It’s like the G-Wagon, no matter what they do to it, they have to make sure it is recognizable as what it is, in this case, a Jeep Wrangler.
Because of the same reason the 911 has kept its basic shape and styling for most of its whole life: when it comes to these iconic cars that have lived onto these days, people, especially fanboys and “purists”, want something that always stays as close as possible to the first and original model; they want something that’s new, yet not new.
Otherwise, they would get their pitchforks and their lit up wood sticks out, calling for the designer’s blood.
I hope the North American version gets the Ecodiesel. With a manual.
Yes that’s what I’m waiting for
No way in hell it will happen, especially with the dieselgate. People in North America mostly got uninterested with diesel engines after that, plus this is FCA. Either we won’t get it, either it’s the only engine we’re going to get.
Since the Grand Cherokee got the Hellcat Engine, this will fet the Demon crate right? Thats hiw this works?
We got the first look at the 2018 wrangler in 1941…
Jeep: taking the Porsche 911 route to styling updates since before the founding of Porsche
Tbh I expected Jeep to overstyle it and make it ugly, but I actually think this looks nice.
still waiting for a hellcat/demon version
Jeep Wrangler: Netflix and chill?
G Wagon: Sure
9 months later
I’m gonna call this a Resto-Mod…………..
The saloon version looks like a hummer, and thats a no no… the “coupe” version (forgive me i dont know the terms) looks great tho.
But will they make a Hellrangler or Wranglercat?
Trailcat… Give it a google :)
