This is our first proper look at the new Toyota Prius, and while the aesthetics are probably an improvement over the old car (I’ll wait to see what you guys think), the scrunched-up front-end does look like its received a quick jab to the mouth.
The "heart-racing" looks have been influenced by Toyota’s hydrogen-powered Mirai, which explains the angular face and strong lines along the new hybrid’s flanks. The car itself is believed to come with greater efficiency and more electric range than before. Whether or not this will be enough to convince the internet that the Prius is an acceptable car remains to be seen.
