Here's Your First Proper Look At Koenigsegg's Veyron-Slaying 280mph Hypercar

After the first official image of Koenigsegg's incredible One:1 dropped a few weeks ago, we now have this video to further whet our appetite over the Swedish supercar maker's upcoming Veyron killer. Not only that, but leaked images of the car have surfaced online (below).

The name is key here: One:1 refers to the car having a 1:1 power to weight ratio: 1340kg, and 1340hp (1322bhp). Allegedly this thing will be able to do 280mph, which is enough to slay the top speeds of both the Bugatti Veyron and the Hennessey Venom.

It's likely to have a reworked version of the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 found in the Agera R, and will be good for 0-62mph in around 2.6 seconds. It'll be able to produce 600kg of downforce, and generate as much as 2G of lateral grip. Enough to make your face hurt, in other words.
