Honda's Incredible Tribute To Senna Will Make F1 Fans Happy

As far as tributes go, this one takes some beating. Honda, which is returning to the F1 fray in 2015, decided to recreate the sound of its sonorous RA109-E V10 that powered the McLaren MP4/5 to championship glory in 1989 at Suzuka circuit.

Positioning hundreds of giant speakers to fill the circuit with glorious noise and many more lights to show the position of where the F1 car would have been, the chaps from Honda waited for nightfall to kick off their dazzling tribute to the man who clocked up three driver's world championships in McLaren cars powered by Honda engines.

Of course, keen fans of F1 history will point out that the 1989 Suzuka race isn't the best tribute choice - Senna was controversially stripped of his victory, handing the 1989 title to Alain Prost - but we'll gloss over that. Turn up your speakers and listen to the knee-tremblingly beautiful sound of an old F1 V10.
