How The Hell Did This Cartwheeling Classic Race Car Not Kill Anyone?
At last weekend's 74th Goodwood Members Meeting, a classic Lotus single-seater racing car was sent into a violent end-on-end roll that saw the vehicle disappear into a pedestrian access tunnel
Amazingly, no one was injured in the access tunnel - which is usually very busy on event days - and the driver was not seriously harmed either, reportedly suffering from ‘just’ a broken collar bone. Not the nicest of injuries, but considering the severity of the accident…

Flippin’ hell that was bad, glad everyone was ok though!
This guy did not die, and I know he was not going particularly fast, but Dale Earnhart Sr. died from hitting a wall, I am aware he was going much faster, but still
A fatal crash is waiting at goodwood. The safety measures are not adequate anymore. It’s an accident waiting to happen sadly. I love the track but the spectators are in danger
god you sound boring
What about rally then?
What about the festival of speed? Where you have some grass some strings and some hay to protect you.
That moment when the first place racer is someone you know!
ouch!!
You think people would have learned from what happened at Le Mans in 1955…

As we know from back in the day, Luck is the only thing that kept you alive when crashing. Luck was on this brave soul’s side that day !
Hole in one! Omg, thanks God no deaths
