Having brought us stunning McLaren and Corvette LMP1 concepts, the G24 Studio team has done it again - this time imagining what it would look like if Mercedes joined the fun.

The German marque doesn’t have the greatest record at the Circuit de la Sarthe. In fact, a disastrous running at the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans saw three separate instances of its CLR prototype racers going airborne due to serious aero issues, prompting Mercedes to pull the plug on its sportscar racing efforts. It hasn’t been back to Le Mans since.

But, what would it look like if Mercedes decided to stop dominating in Formula 1, and switch focus to LMP1?

The G24 Studio design team has created this stunning prototype concept, imagining what it would look like if Mercedes did make the move to the FIA WEC.
