If A Modern-Day Delta Integrale Existed, This Is How Wonderful It Would Look
If you've seen today's Lancia Delta, you'll agree it's certainly no looker...
The Italian car maker could have done better than to shoddily restyle a Fiat Bravo. Which brings us nicely to these superb renderings by Angelo Granata, which show us exactly how the car should have looked.
Judging by the butch, wide arches, Angelo clearly had the rally hero Integrale version in mind when he created this. The wheels meanwhile echo the rims found on the Integrale Evo models, updated for the 21st-century.
The car is envisioned as having Alfa Romeo's 1750 TBi engine powering all four wheels. Curiously, we're told this would be enough for a 0-60mph time of 6.2 seconds, similar to the original Integrale.
We'd like to think that if Lancia did this for real, it might come up with something a touch faster...
