We're big fans of the little Suzuki Swift at Car Throttle, and fresh from battling it out with a remote-control car with Adnan, Suzuki have injected a big dose of swagger into its sharp-looking supermini, with the Swift Attitude edition.
Aimed at younger buyers who lust after the top-dog Swift Sport and want a piece of the racey-looing action without the bigger bills, the Attitude gets a no-nonsense rear spoiler, dark tints for the windows, a carbon-effect roof and mirrors package, and black 16 inch alloy rims to contrast the white-only bodywork.
It's not just a visual treat though. The kit count also goes up a notch, with front foglights added to the already impressive haul, which gives you an air-conditioned, iPod compatible cabin protected by seven airbags. Under the bonnet, the Swift should just about live up to its name, sporting one of the most powerful and yet eco-friendly engines in its class. The 1.2 petrol motor kicks out just 116g/km of CO2 to keep your tax costs down, and shouldn't hurt your wallet too much either with over 55mpg on the cards, but don't worry if you reckon those figures mean this is a Suzuki more grand-daddy than mack-daddy. 93 horsepower will get you on your way sharpish when you're done posing on your black rims...
We're used to Suzuki's being decent value for money, and the Swift Attitude has the right, well, attitude when it comes to shelling out: the three-door is £10,750, and you'll have to find an extra 470 quid if you want the mate-friendly five door spec. That's easily a couple of grand less than what a European maker will ask for a similar gizmo count, and they'll have less go to match the show. Be quick if you're tempted though: only 500 Swift Attitudes are coming to the UK, so you'll be in a pretty exclusive bunch. Apart from the colour, obviously...
