I'm Heading To Paris Motor Show 2014: What Do You Want To See?
The Paris Motor Show has been a regular, biennial fixture on the automotive calendar since its creation by motoring pioneer Albert de Dion in 1898. One hundred and sixteen years later the Mondial de l’Automobile roars on, and this Thursday I’ll be covering the event live from the Expo halls.
Paris is normally the time when we get to see all manner of production and concept vehicles from the world’s leading manufacturers. This show promises to be just as exciting; we’ve already seen Mercedes take the wraps of its AMG GT, Mazda unveil the Mk4 MX-5 and Honda release images of the hot Civic Type-R concept.
Paris is also home turf for Peugeot, Citroen and Renault who will no doubt be looking to wow the world’s press with funky concepts. We’ve already caught wind of the Peugeot Exalt and Quartz and I’ll be getting to spend some time with Peugeot’s Director for Concept Cars, so make sure you get your questions in below!
So over the next few days, I’ll be your humble correspondent on the ground. WiFi and 3G coverage permitting, I’ll be uploading images from the floor straight to Discuss, so make sure you bookmark the page in your browser and keep refreshing from 6am GMT onwards this Thursday 2nd October.
Is there anything in particular you’d like to see? How about the ugliest cars of Paris 2014? Or a behind-the-scenes look at attending a motor show on a Press Day? Let me know in the comments.
