I'm obsessed....again.
What can I say? I love obscure, rare and most of all undesirable cars. Because I’m just that way. I have loved these ever since I saw one in person a while ago. I thought it was an 80s Prelude at first. Then I saw the badges. My fanboy nerve snapped…I’ve wanted one ever since.

The one above is ROUGH. But it runs, drives, has a very 80s interior, and a badass NA Boxer 4 by the looks of it.
Furthermore, its CHEAP! Less than 1500 dollars cheap. Probably cheal in more ways than just cost…but to me, it seems like an AWESOME Starting point. I plan to check it out this week or next. Just one teeny problem…I’ve only driven manual 2 times….at work. But I believe in myself.
If Europeans can do it…
Kidding Euro guys and gals.

I’m loving the idea with those wheels. And I might just have to do that open header thing… Because 110 decibels with mufflers isn’t enough sometimes.
Hell ya! Your camaro NEEDS it!
With some new wheels (I love the wheels in the first picture of the gallery) and after a good detailing session I think it will look amazing!
I owned an XT/Alcyone. It was an interesting beast. 130bhp wasn’t a lot so it wasn’t fast, but it did have that typical boxer rumble and it sounded great.
Mine was manual with a cool pistol grip shifter that had the 4WD (it is FWD most of the time) button on top of the gear stick like the missile button on a fighter jet. FUN FACT: The automatic variants also had 4WD but could only be activated by putting your windscreen wipers on.
Overall, I didn’t really bond with my XT, it felt like it didn’t know what it wanted to be. Was it a 2+2 sports car with its tiny back seats? Was it a GT car with its squidgy suspension? Was it a saloon car with its big boot? Nobody knows, and might explain why it was a massive flop.
That’s another color thought. I will have to see for myself. Its a manual. All I know at this point is whats seen in the photos, its 233k mileage, the fact that the engine runs and that it is MEGA Cheap. I hope it’s not just a cool idea. I also have the bar set REALLY LOW. It does need a lot of work. Not to make it road worthy…but worthy of its idea. I hope it works out. I seriously really want obe. And if you find one anymore, they are either worse off than this one, (rusted and sans engine) or they are fixed up an 4-6 thousand dollars.
That rally version looks sick! Great find. Hope you’ll make it a hell of a ride.
Do it
Never heard of that. The rear looked like a 90s Buick but then I saw the logo! FYI I want one now look!
That interior looked like the interior for my 88’ Chevrolet Nova.
So I just found out about this car the other day from a movie I watched with my dad, he said that form the factory they had airbag suspension that when it would snow the car could lift up to provide more clearance, he’s really good with cars but has been known to be wrong a couple times, but if this is true… That’s downright awesome
