But what if there were a car that made all of those fiddly maneuvers associated with city driving a doddle? Well, a team of brainy students from China, Taiwan and New Zealand have built a prototype that just might do the trick.

This very clever electric car is able to rotate each wheel 90 degrees, meaning it can turn around on the spot, and effortlessly slide into parking spaces. It can even reach 60mph, more than enough for inner-city driving. The nameless machine is expected to go into production in around two years, and will be sold for $8000. So, if you know someone that can't park to save their life, point them in this direction.
