Jaguar F-Type Promo: Naff Nonsense Or 13 Mins Of Genius?
If there's one thing we've learnt this week, it's that promotional videos can make manufacturers bomb from hero to zero in a matter of seconds.
But while Jaguar's promotional video for the new Jaguar F-type probably won't make people cry, we're not convinced that it's actually any good.
Directed in collaboration with Ridley Scott Associates and featuring award-winning actor Damian Lewis (the guy from 'Homeland'), promotional film Desire uses the strap line: One man. One job. But in the desert, nothing is simple.
In what should be a simple customer car delivery, we're surrounded by betrayal and deceit, which is wrapped in the tried and tested formula of car chases, a beautiful woman and plenty of cheese.
