Jaguar's New F-Type Coupe Is Downright Pornographic
If you didn't think it was possible for the F-Type to be any prettier, just take a look at this knee-tremblingly gorgeous coupe version. It seems odd that just slapping on a hard top would make such a difference, but it really does.
That roof will be available in either aluminium or in panoramic glass form. As with the roadster, there'll be an entry-level 335bhp 3.0-litre supercharged V6 model and a 375bhp version of the same engine in the S, but the range-topper will be a much more hardcore proposition. Whereas the roadster is available in V8S form with 'only' 488bhp, the coupe gets an R edition with a mental 542bhp.
To keep all that extra V8 brawn under control there will also be the option of carbon ceramic brakes, something that's coming to the roadster range soon. The standard V6 coupe will set you back £51,235, the S £60,235, and the R an eye-watering £85,000. If that sounds like a bit much, you'll have to hope Jag puts the rumoured four-pot F-type into production quickly.
