We have good news for fans of ballistic estate cars: Jaguar's XFR-S in 'Sportbrake' guise is almost here. Appearing in the above leaked image, this hot wagon will make its public debut at the Geneva motor show next month. As with its saloon sibling (below), it'll have a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 producing 542bhp and 502lb/ft of torque.

Compared with the current four-door version, the new wagon's 0-62mph will climb to an estimated 4.8sec, while the top speed is likely to drop from the saloon's 186mph figure to around 180mph.

Prices for the XFR-S Sportbrake are expected to start from between £80,000 and £83,000, making the new car considerably more expensive than the Mercedes E63 AMG estate and Audi RS6 Avant, prices of which kick off at £75,885 and £76,985 respectively.

We'll bring you all the official images and details when we have them.
