This track-focused 1M clone sports the E90 M3's 4.0-litre V8, and it sounds incredible
I’ve long thought that an engine-swapped 1-series coupe represents fast BMW perfection. This example - which Jay Leno is having a poke around - is probably my favourite sort, as it’s packing the delicious S65 4.0-litre V8 from the E9x M3 (made larger with a Dinan stroker kit).
There are several similarly converted 1-series coupes and 1Ms around the world, but I’m not sure any sound as raucous as this one…
