Jeep Has Built A 707hp Wrangler, Because Why Not
As with previous editions of the annual Moab Jeep Safari, Jeep has built a bunch of cool concepts to bring along. However, there’s one in particular that’s caught our attention this year: the Trailcat. And that isn’t just because this Wrangler-based specimen looks spectacularly monstrous with its gigantic 39.5-inch BF-Goodrich off road tyres and minimal bodywork. The real story is under the bonnet, as it’s packing the same 707hp (697bhp) 6.2-litre supercharged V8 as the Dodge Hellcat twins. Cripes.
All of this sounds like a recipe for delirious fun. And it should be pretty damn capable: as well as those fat tyres, it also has heavy duty Dana 60 front and rear axles, Fox shock absorbers and ‘rock rails’ to protect the lower parts of the body. The Dodge borrowing continues in the airy cabin, where you’ll find a pair of bucket seats pinched from the Viper.
You can check out this concept and its six siblings at the Moab Jeep Safari, where it’ll be on display at the trail-focused event from 19-27 March.

Jeep Wheelie-cat.
Nice lol
What’s the book on one of those! I want one
Honestly surprised it took em this long. After all the hellcat engine is becoming popular for swaps.
Why isn’t this a factory option. Now all they need is a fwd dart with this engine.
Lmao nice even viper got hellcat engine
All I can imagine people using it for
Its like an off-road hellcat

Is this like all the other 707hp vehicles Dodge makes that don’t actually have 707 when they’re tested?
The engine makes 707, but the drivetrain loses a bit of power making it something like 630 at the wheels
#jumpingoverhillsisraid
How many times will it have broken down by the time I’ve finished reading this article?
