Just came across a bunch of non-studio photographs of the 2017 Nissan GT-R. What do you guys think of the changes now you can see it out in the wild?

Personally its a good improvement. I never found the car ugly to begin with, Although it was starting to look dated in comparison to the modern supercars of today. Unlike the R32, R34, and all the RX7s. The R35 isn’t a timeless and iconic design in the end. Which means I am happy to see visual overhauls.

Exterior = very good
Interior = Not very good (that touchscreen not embedded in to the dash is horrible, and the color of this case, of the leather, is horrible, baby poo color as i would say)

I’m fine with the exterior changes (I quite like them actually) apart from that grille; it looks too similar to the 2007-12 version. With the interior, well it is quite ugly, but at least the controls have been simplified; it looks a lot more user friendly now.

Exterior = Superb, even more beautiful
Interior = I don’t like steerring wheel and overall infotainment system could be better looking for an exotic performance car IMO (although its not too bad)

Great car overall though, 10/10 would buy. Even the 370z in the background is great looking

I agree. They should have done something more exciting like Toyota’s FT1

The interior looks more luxury than performance tbh. But it looks great

I like it, but they should’ve done more with the interior.

I think a slightly different front bumper is not a completely new car. My best mate would give all of his limbs to own a Skyline, & even he thinks this car shouldn’t be the R36. (That’s from the mouth of a hardcore GT-R fanboy)

It isn’t the R36…

All I can see is Adnan Ebrahim‘s tears because he bought his GT-R on the eve of it’s visual update.

chirp chirp

Despite the update, I get the 2009 original instead. It feels more prettier than the 2017 facelift.

I wouldn’t have purchased a brand new car anyway - doesn’t make sense / cents (excuse the pun).
