The Lambo With The Dragon Tattoo

Ever thought the Lamborghini Aventador was more ‘Moo’ than raging bull? Oakley did

Oakley Design unveiled the first of 10 special edition Lamborghini Aventadors at last week’s Chelsea Auto Legends. Because apparently, the ‘standard’ Aventador LP700-4 is just too subtle.

The ‘LP760-4 Dragon Edition’ is based on Oakley’s existing LP760-2 Aventador, which boasts a monstrous 760bhp. Oh, and two-wheel drive…

Oakley says it’s confident that the Aventador can “handle this level of power with just rear-wheel-drive”. Whether the car can handle the power is immaterial - it’s the squishy pink thing behind the steering wheel we’re worried about.

Luckily though, one of the Dragon Edition’s new owners has elected to retain the standard car’s four-wheel drive system which may save him or her (we’d love to meet any woman who’d order this…) a whole heap of embarrassment if things go boobs up.

Despite the added exterior tinsel, the Dragon Edition represents a decent weight saving over the standard LP700. This is thanks to a titanium exhaust system and plenty of carbonfibre.

The carbon mirrors and engine cover are direct replacements, but the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned and remodeled in carbon to better suit the car’s aerodynamic profile.

We especially like the HRE alloys (19in at the front and 20in out back), and orange brake calipers. A grandiose rear-wing replaces the standard car’s flip-up job and rounding out the exterior modifications is the ‘aqua’ chrome wrap which masks the car’s matte-black paintwork.

Little has been done to the interior of the car - save for some dragon motifs (as you do…), orange stitching and identifying plaques.
