A Lamborghini Aventador SV With Porsche 918 Paint Is Weirdly Awesome
Of all the colours you can choose to paint your new Lamborghini Aventador, you’d think there’d be something in the Lambo catalogue for everyone. Not so, it seems, as this very special Avent is painted with the Liquid Metal Blue colour that comes straight from the Porsche 918 configurator.
It’s special for another reason: it’s the last ever Aventador SV to leave the Sant’Agata production line. We’re not crying - there’s something in our eyes, honest…
We’re not sure exactly how much the finish cost, but it’s not going to have been a cheap job - twelve stages of painting and months of work were involved. Lamborghini Edinburgh says that many phone calls, trips to Italy and late nights at work have perfected the spec, which is the highest of any SV in the world.
The areas of the SV that are normally black or exposed carbon have been painted too, so that’s why it looks slightly different to other SVs.
Where do we sign?

I don’t like the painted carbon and black parts, makes the car looks like using some unfinished fake bodykit. Just my opinion
The color option when ordered from Porsche was $63,000 USD, so it must have been more since that color and product probably isn’t in production anymore. That being said there are color/body schemes available on the Bugatti Chiron that are 100,000 Euros so I mean…
Where’s the blue in that silver????
I weirdly like it alot
I dont know why
I thought it was the Edinburgh showroom! Didn’t even see the part about Edinburgh Lamborghini until I properly read the story. Looks stunning to me. If you ever have a chance to go to Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh visit the showrooms - Porsche/Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini/Bentley all in one giant complex :) I’m actually heading to edinburgh right now but sadly not to pick up this car 😂
I quite like it! certainly a bold spec! ;)
Well, it’s grey… everywhere… doesn’t look good to me.
Will let you know what it is like, my friend has just bought this from Lamborghini Edinburgh
Yes,, my god, it is stunning
