Lamborghini Has Gone Arctic Road-Tripping In 7 Huracan Evos

What’s the point of a supercar if you don’t take it out into the world and use it? Hats off to Lamborghini, which has taken seven Huracan Evos to Norway’s spectacular Lofoten Islands

Lamborghini has revealed the latest instalment in its Avventura series of road trips, where it takes groups of its own cars to some of the most stunning driving locations on the planet.

Seven Huracan Evos drove across the Norwegian coast to the breathtaking Lofoten Islands, home to jaw-dropping scenery and amazing wildlife like sea eagles and killer whales. The angry roar of Italian V10s barely concealing their 631bhp against such an idyllic backdrop is one we find tough to resist.

Stops on the 394-mile, two-day journey included Henningsvaer, a small fishing village that plays host to one of the world’s most beautiful football grounds, situated on a small, rocky inlier among crystal blue ocean.

Let’s be honest, nobody needs an excuse to look at Lamborghini supercars in stunning places, but this one has reduced CT office productivity to near-zero as we all Google overseas road trip options for this weekend.

The Italian convoy passed through classic Norwegian towns, visited the almost Caribbean waters of Flakstadøya, and hit Svolvaer, believed to be the oldest town in the Arctic Circle.

The adventure concluded in Harstad, the same point from which it started, only this time the seven Huracan Evos watched a spectacular sunset from the top of Mount Keipen.

We’re big believers in the therapeutic power of the road trip. After seeing the fruits of Lamborghini’s latest excursion, who’s up for a quick dash across to Scandinavia?

The Huracan Evo uses the same-spec engine as the Performante, reaching 201mph and passing 62mph from a standing start in just 2.9 seconds. All-wheel steering aids its manoeuvrability while significantly adjusted aerodynamic properties provide more stability at speed.

I understand the meaning and purpose of this rally but … I love Norway, although I have never lived there as a local. I like to visit the fjords in a leisurely mode in the format of an individual tour like this - https://nordicsaga.com/premium-all-inclusive-scandinavia-tours A beautiful and fast car is great, but when around such a nature you want to freeze on the spot and enjoy the silence. It’s my personal opinion. Photos are great as always, thanks.
