With record sales in 2015, a doubling in size of its production facility and hundreds of new staff members being taken on, Lamborghini looks to be in jolly good shape

Things are looking rather rosy at Lamborghini. Sant’Agata Bolognese has just announced that it sold a record 3245 cars in 2015, up from 2530 the previous year, and the company has just employed over 150 production staff to work on the incoming Urus SUV (pictured below in concept form). That’s just the start, though: with Lamborghini’s production plant soon doubling in size, the company will take on a further 500 new employees.

Whether or not you agree with the Italian supercar firm making an SUV, its arrival in 2018 should leave the company in ruder financial health than ever. The addition of the Urus - which will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 - to the range is expected to double the company’s sales, hence the need for all those extra members of staff.

So, if you’re looking for an amazing opportunity to work in the auto industry, you know where to send your CV…

They will build an suv? Meeeehhhh. As if we dont have enough of those trucks.
They have build one back then but that thing was cool. And the “new” thing will most defenetly be a q7 basicly. Because cheaper to build. Like the chayenne touareg q7 and god knows what else is made on that platform.
