A Lamborghini Veneno Is For Sale And We Need To Start Crowdfunding This

If we asked for just a couple of dollars from every CTzen on the planet we could buy this Lamborghini Veneno, one of just three hard-top examples ever made, but organising the time-share calendar would be a nightmare...

Got a spare £7.4 million kicking around down the back of your sofa? If so, we’ve got an idea for what you could spend it on. One of just three Lamborghini Veneno coupes has surfaced for sale in the US, and it might actually be a bargain.

For sale in Long Island, New York, but appearing on German website mobile.de, the ultra-rare Veneno in question is offered for a rough price of €8 million, or around $9.5 million. The 730bhp rocket’s original price four years ago was less than half that, so it’s not a bad return on the original investment.

Another one popped up on the market last year for a hefty $11 million, but while that one had a scandalous 522 miles under its flashy Pirelli F1-inspired tyres (the style of which you can now buy on the aftermarket), this one has covered just 112 miles. So, in a manner of speaking, this is a decent price, relatively speaking.

For your €8 million you get a nice, understated silver runabout with an efficient and reliable 6.5-litre V12 and a user-friendly, comfortable automatic gearbox. It’s never been in any accidents and is very low-mileage for the year.

Insurance could be on the expensive side and rearward visibility isn’t the best, but the additional bodywork at the front end does, at least, increase the size of the crumple zone for extra safety. It’s also very low, so thieves and vandals simply won’t be able to see it. All these and more are reasons why it’s hard to argue against buying the Veneno, so get checking under your sofa cushions.

£10ph x 40 hours a week x 52(?) weeks in a year, i should be able to afford one in about 355 years. If I don’t eat or live in a house that is.

Hey, I saw this in real life! The guy who owns it (Antoine Dominic) owns a MC12 and a old Ford GT with the Gulf paint, too! Busy guy, probably because he owns Lamborghini Long Island!

I do not get the hype over this?! Yes its rare, but that front is awkward and as a whole design package it looks like a childs rendering of what a lambo should be! Give me an aventador over this any day!
