Fancy a snowy winter break but aren’t too fussed by skiing? Here’s an alternative. The latest Lamborghini Winter Academy will kick off in February 2015, with dates available at Aspen in Colorado, Navago in Japan, and Livingo in Italy. The programme focuses on improving driving skills by letting participants loose on challenging low-grip snow and ice surfaces in Huracans and Aventadors.

Sounds like epic fun, but it’s unfortunately not all that cheap, with the ‘Intensivo’ one-day programme setting you back €3500(£2800) in Livingo, while the ‘Avanzato’ two-day course is €4900 (£3900) at the Italian location. Still, that price does include expert tuition, plenty of grub and posh hotel accommodation, so if you have a few quid spare this winter and fancy grappling with a Lambo on ice, give ‘em a call.
