The Land Wind E32 Is A Shameless Evoque Rip-Off From China

If you want an Evoque but can't afford it, the copyright-dodging Chinese market has something you might enjoy

It seems that copyright laws haven't quite made their way over to China. We've all seen those blatant far-east rip-offs in the past, this is the latest: the Land Wind E32.

These patent drawings show that it has clearly been heavily inspired by the Range Rover Evoque. The E32 shares almost identical styling cues, particularly from the side profile. Hilariously, even the Land Wind font is stolen from Land Rover.

Car News China reports that the E32 will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-pot petrol, making 187bhp. It also gets a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Once on sale, the E32 will cost around £11,000.
