Explaining his potentially ‘sacrilegious’ decision to put a Lexus engine in a Jeep, the uploader says “1UZs are everywhere and cheap. We can get 1UZs, including VVT-i models for about $180 with PCM & harness.” And as a bonus, they clearly sound good with some unrestrictive pipework!

It’s amazing that in this day and age people still don’t know how to pull cars out that are stuck.

Ebay, Craigslist, sure it seems a little shady at first but you’d find really good deals that are too good to pass up. ie. I saw an AE86 recently for sale for 5k fully running and was a hatchback sprinter trueno only that it wasn’t in a panda paint job it was essentially an initial d look alike.
