A little guide for CT for new users

  1. Remember to click the reply button in the comment section to reply to someones comment, not just write another comment on your post, that way its easier to find every comment in the section

  1. Remember to click the reply button in the comment section to reply to someones comment, not just write another comment on your post, that way its easier to find every comment in the section

  2. If you have a car and want to post it, click the community “garage” its then automatically turned into a gallery for you to put multiple pictures, text and video

  3. Post stuff in the most relevant community, dont put a, lets say a honda thats drifting in the gentlemans garage and thats how you ensure quality and fun browsing for other users

  4. If you think you dont know something about cars, ask for info about it, dont be stubborn and/or ignorant while discussing about it, you have the internet, you have the knowledge, you have the power and power equals skids, dont forget that

  5. Try to put some effort in your posts, insert puns (which must be written in italic), be original, be funny, informative, dont just share pics you found on the internet here, use photoshop, paint, whatever, its more rewarding and you will get noticed because of the fresh, original content

hope youll remember some of these tips i wrote to you, peace
and merry christmas by the way!

if you have taken time to read this i gift you this magnificent pic of a astonishing mercedes

merry christmas!

So true :D You write an entire article and get 20 upvotes - you post the third google pic of a tuned Rx7, Gtr, Supra or whatever and get with a bit luck 200 upvotes

Good statements. I think everyone should read this both “older” and “newer” members

More relevant for the new users because older users are more familiar with the community and people, in my opinion

Maybe you should include something about limited the amount of “What car should I get for my first car” type of posts. I may be alone in this, but I am beginning to tire of seeing these posts. I don’t mind the ones where it has been narrowed down to 2 or 3 cars but the open ended questions by youngsters that aren’t even close to being able to afford the cars they want are becoming old.

It’s unfortunate that we need this. That first one should be in bold and italic… too many people just make a separate comment to reply. That’s pretty annoying.
