This Massive BMW M4 Crash Is An Extreme Case Of Driver Inexperience

The world's first BMW M4 crash was caused by the hands of a 20-year-old driver in Munich

Deliveries of the new BMW M4 have only just begun in Germany and one has been obliterated already. It has been reported that the 20-year-old behind the wheel of this particular M4 was travelling at excess speeds in Munich, when he lost control and ploughed through a park. The cause of the crash is thought to have originated from a fast getaway at a set of traffic lights, which went bad.

As you can see, the M4 ended up wedged between two trees, with significant front end and rear three-quarter damage. Just look at the angle of that right rear wheel; it’s enough to bring any petrolhead to tears. The car is quite clearly a write-off, but despite the colossal damage, the cabin looks to have stayed remarkably intact; the driver escaped with only minor injuries.

The list price for the 425bhp M4 in Germany is €75,300 (£60,300), but from the sounds of it the owner had ticked a few pricey options boxes, as the total cost of this smash is apparently €90,000 (£72,000). RIP.
